This is an Affinity Seminar for those who identify as Black.

This racial affinity session will explore the intersection of race, power and joy in Black culture.  Participants will examine ways Black joy has been historically suppressed and how it can serve as a tool of resistance.  In addition to facilitated Courageous Conversation® discussions, participants will come away with a deeper understanding of the vital role that Black joy plays in the work of racial equity and a greater appreciation of the richness of Black culture.
